Who I am

Hi! I am Jillian. I am providing Psychotherapy services via Telehealth to individuals who are residing anywhere within New York State.

I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with additional training/certification in Perinatal Mental Health. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi Unversity in 2014. I have a history of supporting teenagers involved with the foster care system, families experiencing homelessness, and individuals diagnosed with Serious Mental Illness.

I have expertise in and passion for working with young adults transitioning to more independent life phases in addition to women navigating family-building experiences. I believe that life transitions are vulnerable and transformative times and I enjoy supporting others throughout their journeys.

Therapy sessions will be tailored to your unique interests and needs but may cover topics such as communication skills, self-care needs, exploration of family dynamics and clarification of feelings and goals. I will bring in tools from various therapeutic approaches including Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to music and writing as tools to process and better understand my emotions. These days, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter and being outdoors as much as possible.
